What is an immigrant visa?

Some of the foreign nationals entering into United States have an ultimate goal of permanently residing in the United States. An immigrant visa is a document that allows foreign nationals to permanently reside in the U.S, generally referred to as a ‘green card’. Immigration visa is broadly divided into four categories: family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, religious worker immigration and immigration investor program.
